Over the last year, we visited more than 50+ Lounges in the United States in order to find the 10 that are actually worth visiting. Our rating system was based on seven factors that we consider most important for a positive lounge experience. Here they are!

• Exclusivity:

  • 3 points for lounges with heavily restricted access;

  • 2 points for lounges with limited access;

  • 1 point for lounges that sell Day Passes.

• Crowdedness:

  • 3 points for lounges that never have a wait to get in;

  • 2 points for lounges that sometimes have waits;

  • 1 point for lounges that always require waiting to get in.

• Seating:

  • 3 points for lounges with many seating options;

  • 2 points for lounges with some seating options;

  • 1 point for lounges with limited seating options.

• Views:

  • 3 points for lounges with excellent and varied views;

  • 2 points for lounges with pretty good views;

  • 1 point for lounges with limited views.

• Food/Drink:

  • 3 points if the lounge has a restaurant with a menu;

  • 2 points if there's QR Code and a Buffet;

  • 1 point if there's just a Buffet)

• Amenities:

  • 3 points for a spa;

  • 2 points for a shower;

  • 1 point if there are no "additional" amenities

• Vibe/Decor:

  • 3 points for "distinctive" vibe/decor;

  • 2 points for "comfortable" vibe/decor;

  • 1 point for "generic" vibe/decor.
